Science Class at McCarren Park
The 5th grade went into the 'field' to do some hands on science and math. We walked to McCarren Park for a
special "Tree Lab" where students practiced measuring the circumference of different trees and learned to identify a tree by the shape of its leaves. It was a beautiful fall day, and we really liked learning about how a scientist collects data in the field, or in this case, the park.
