100th Day of School 2012

Crazy Hats Counting Parade

 

 

 

On Valentines day, February 14, 2012, P.S. 132 celebrated the 100th Day of School. Our students and staff members wore crazy hats decorated with 100 items. We conducted a school-wide math investigation around our community.  Students predicted the number of steps they would count as they walked to various local businesses.  When the students arrived at the business, they compared results and greeted the owners and employees with a trophy to thank them for their commitment to our school.

Band Performance at Brooklyn Borough Hall

P.S. 132's new Senior Band was invited to perform for Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz in his spring concert series. Our resident band conductor Mr. David Seidner has worked quite hard with our band to prepare for this magnificent performance. We are so proud of the accomplishments of our talented musicians. Bravo!
